Healing with the Full Moon

PURPOSE
Calling on your highest self and the moon to aid in you in gaining reprieve from past trauma

¡IMPORTANT!: If you are easily triggered because of past events, DO NOT try this without first seeking medical advice.
This is not about revisiting trauma. There is no need to relive it in anyway. The precise memory or details is not necessary. This is simply about releasing. When you release you connect to your highest self. Here you are always protected.

SUPPLIES
Moonstone*
Water
Bowl or chalice*
Salt
altar or safe flat surface

*ALTERNATIVES
If you do not have moonstone, you can either visualize it, print a picture, pull it up on your smart device, or visualize the full moon shrinking into a small pebble during meditation
Remember you can always substitute a crystal for a clear quartz.
If you do not have a bowl or chalice, a medium size cup will do.

OPTIONAL

favorite incense or candle
silver, black, red, or violet altar cloth
plants or flowers
crystal display or grid

Glamour
Dark colors &/or musky scents

Candle Dressings for intention

Journal, recording device, or a trusted care assistant for documenting any insights

If inclined, you or your assistant may cleanse your space and you with sacred herb, a crystal, or an incantation

Ground via meditation, breath work, or breathe with intention

Cast a circle of protection and then a triangle for amplification.

Invoke the Moon and you Highest Self. You may use your own invocation or customize the one below.

I call upon Mother Moon, her protection, love, and wisdom.
I call upon my Highest Self, guardian of my sacred intention

I invoke thee. Welcome and blessed be.

Place/have your assistant place the bowl or chalice on your altar.

Sign or say internally/externally:

Although now it may be empty
Soon it shall be filled with plenty
As I release this pain & sorrow
As I vow to thrive & not dread tomorrow

Sprinkle/have your assistant sprinkle salt around the perimeter or the bowl or chalice; forming a circle

Sign or say internally/externally:

I create a barrier so that all harmful thoughts and memories are resigned to this vessel

Pour/have your assistant pour the water into the bowl/chalice and begin to meditate.

SIMPLE MEDITATION
Find a nice comfy position to lay or to sit.

This does contain breath work, so if you are unable to breathe deeply, simply breathe, with intention.

This breathing can be done via the mouth or nostrils.

If possible, your inhales should be short and deep; your exhales should be long and slow.

You may close your eyes.

Continue to breathe deeply or with intention. If you can, do so until you feel loose and heavy.

When you are ready, come into your normal breath

As you meditate allow whatever emotion [not memory] that needs to come, come.

Stay with this emotion as long as you can. Give it space to exist. It needs to form before it can be released.

If you need to cry, let those tears flow. This is your body utilizing the elements of water and spirt to relinquish control. You are safe. Surrender to the embrace the Moon is holding you in. Let go of false control.

When you are ready return to your deep breaths or breath of intention.

Come into a more comfortable breath.

If you can, begin to move your body. Raise your brows, smile, move your eyes from side to side, move your fingers, your prosthetic, your wheels.

Once you feel like you have returned, begin to raise your power.

You can either start at the base of your spine, your stomach, or genitals.

When the power is about to reach its peak, sign or say internally/externally:

It is done and I have grown
This my body, that only I own
I am more than this treachery
I am made of love and powerful energy
It is a fact that I can survive
As it is a fact that I will thrive
Long after the memory has died
Long after this water has dried

If you have a moonstone drop it or have your assistant drop into the bowl/chalice

Otherwise utilize one of the above visualizations

Leave the water out until the Waning Gibbous phase. You may either pour it down the drain or into the ground. Make sure to remove the moonstone before doing so.
